Yorkshire shepherdess Amanda Owen became the talk of the town following her breakup with husband Clive, a move that spelt doom for their popular reality programme, Our Yorkshire Farm.

However, she's back in the spotlight having parted ways with her beau Robert Davies after five years together. In a candid reveal, 50 year old Amanda confessed that unlike her separation from Clive, she and 72 year old web designer Robert are not on talking terms.

The Sun first disclosed Amanda's secret romance with Robert at a time when she was still technically married to Clive.

Opening up about the dissolution of her marriage, Amanda shared with the public: "Clive never liked me being away from the farm, and that led to arguments. I would return home not knowing what to expect or what his reaction would be. I'd feel the tension in the air and await the explosion."

In an intimate discussion with the Daily Mail, Amanda reflected on how during lockdown, the lack of bookings offered her space to write and introspect. She revealed this period brought her peace and the realisation that she felt more at ease away from Clive, culminating in their decision to separate permanently, reports the Mirror.

Discussing her burgeoning romance with Robert, she confessed: "I never set out looking for another relationship. Rob [Davies] was a friend that Clive and I had both known for a long time.

"He put together the farm website and the digital aspect of the business, everything that we couldn't do. What he offered was conversation rather than confrontation, and Clive knew about it from the very beginning he actually suggested Rob and I would be a good match."

Expanding on the complexities of their partnership, she added: "At that point, a few years ago now, Clive was also seeing someone else and was openly dating. It wasn't a secret, everyone roundabout knew, even the children. But the impact of my and Rob's relationship was far-reaching for everyone involved. Rob and I were both shattered by the way the media pursued us and reported it, and as a result Rob and I are no longer together or in touch."

Even Robert's spouse had spoken out about her distress over his affair, disclosing to The Sun that she felt she had "lost everything."

Amanda and her husband Clive, however, are gearing up to return to our screens with their new More4 series titled Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids. This thrilling 10-part instalment will showcase the whole family as they tackle the challenges of revamping a derelict farmhouse that they've recently acquired near their homestead especially for the programme.
